I have a beautiful - all factory original - Mustang Coupe for sale, regretfully.

I have owned the car for 20 years. I know the original owner. The car was appraised at $29, 225.00 two years ago (have put less then 200 miles on her since) and it is insured for $30,000 with Grundy Worldwide.

Do to various reasons, I regretfully have to sell this beautiful gem of American History.

The reason I am contacting you is because I lived in Sonoma County from 1961 to 1991. I was the founder of the Sebastopol Mustangers and after it was shut down I helped start the original Bishop-Hansel Ford Mustang Club.

I owned, at that time, a 1967 coupe. I raced, auto-crossed, did rallys, and just had a ball. Even did the 'Tour of Northern California' once. Also, was on the Board for the Northern Council Mustang Clubs that met in the bay area once a month.

So, I decided that, in 1989 that I wanted another 1967 / 1968 coupe as I love those years. I found this car, and was love struck again. It was being cared for like a baby, in a temperature controlled garage.

I just had a friend take a number of pictures of her this week that I can e-mail to an interested party.

The interior is factory original, the paint is factory original, the motor and transmission are factory original. She is a Best In Show winner. Her name is Katrina - for 20 years - way before New Orleans crisis.

I have to sell her now for various reasons and I would love her to go back to her stomping grounds.

I am asking $20,500.00 and am open for negotiation.

I realize the economy is terrible, I am 61 and it probably won't recover for a couple years. But, that is why the price is where it is, and I can come down some to the right person, within reason.

I have had people locally here threaten to sue me because I won't sell to them for the teens graduation present. I tell them to go ahead, they never come back.
