Welcome to the Sonoma County Mustang Club

About the Sonoma County Mustang Club

The club has numerous events throughout the year which includes our annual overnighter, the annual dinner, a mystery cruise, what we fondly refer to as Final Fridays (cruise and eat), and some years also a club picnic.

With the resurgence or newer Mustangs that started in 2005 the club now has a good mixture of classic and newer Mustangs. We even have members that have a project car underway that we will all may see someday. Some of us occasionally track our cars at one of the areas tracks such as Sonoma Raceway or Thunder Hill Race Park. One member participates regularly in local autocross events.

We recently had our club picnic at Armstrong Woods which was well attended. The Mystery Cruise took place in July and as always is a great outing. The funny part about the final location being a mystery is when the cruise leader takes a wrong turn; no one ever knows since only the lead car and the last car really know where we are going anyway!

For the last few years, the club has been able to make a donation to a well-deserved local charity that helps the hungry and afflicted in Sonoma County. In 2014, one of our club members put together a fundraiser with the help of sponsors, other club members, and friends. We were able to turn this into a fun social event that generated all profits toward a great cause. We are hoping to repeat this event again in the next couple of years.

Our events are planned by the club members, so get involved. Bring an idea to a meeting for the next Final Friday event destination or help plan next year’s overnighter.
